16th Annual SCCPOCI Show-N-Shine
Rain that was in the forecast earlier in the week held
off long enough to allow 90 beautiful Pontiacs, Buicks and Oldsmobiles to
strut their stuff for the first car show of the year. While most of
the country is still waist-deep in snow and preparing for their first show
in April or May, this one is already in the books and we are all set for the
28th Annual SCCPOCI All Pontiac Car Show, May 21st.

27th Annual All Pontiac Car Show at
Bob's Big Boy Broiler, Downey
Sounding like a broken record, but just like all of our
get-togethers, if it weren't for the few volunteers that show early for set
up, run the booths and stay late to break everything down and clean up while
everyone else drives home the show would not happen. THANK YOU to the
27th Annual SCCPOCI All Pontiac Car Show on May 9, 2015 at Bob's Big Boy Broiler in Downey, Ca.
was another huge success at yet another new location. Thank you to all
who attended and thanks you to Bob's Big Boy Broiler for having us!
at Fullerton Airport.
To be blown away or not... that was the question. In terms of
the cars in attendance, that would be a resounding YES! As for the
weather, all I can say is we were lucky. Mother Nature held off some of
the worst Santana winds so we could have the show. They started to pick up
just as we were finishing up for the day, ending up minus only one canopy.
As soon as the show was over we scampered to load the trucks and get everything
to storage before the howling started all over again.
Picture links to follow soon....
The first show of the year was a resounding success with well over 85
cars on the show field by 10:00 am.
At the risk of being repetitive, once more a HUGE round of THANK YOU to everyone
who came out and helped with setup, parking, booths and final clean
One person in particular was absent, but she was there in our hearts and
minds. We miss you, Debbie!

Mother nature had different plans
than ours that day, but we still had over 20 cars and their owners that

Another huge success! Thank
you to all who participated, to Hooters for their hospitality and most of
all, to the volunteers who helped set up, run the show, and then stayed
after to break down and clean up. Without you there isn't a show!
Show-N-Shine at Hooters
To say we got lucky with the
weather is an understatement! What could have easily been a

Pontiacs, Buicks and Oldsmobiles in attendance. Picture albums to be added
as they are available.

The 23rd Annual
All-Pontiac/Oakland Car Show at Fuddruckers
Once again, the weather
cooperated and the show was a major success due to the hard work of those
that put this show together, the members that show up at 6:00 AM to help set
up, and then stay late for clean up. For all of those that put in the
effort to make this show a success a big THANK YOU to you! To those
that just stood around and watched, well... lets just say we all know who

This turned out to be one of the
best Fudds ever. After the threat of rain last year and scorching heat
the two years before, perfect weather greeted a near-record turnout of
everything from restored to modified to race-inspired Pontiacs. A

Last but not least, a big THANK
YOU to all the members that took the time to make this show such a
success. There is a ton of work that is done in the months before the
show, along with the pre-show set up, parking of cars, registration,
ballots, 50/50, raffle, awards presentation and then final clean-up. Without
all the hard work from all of you, this show would not be

2009, February 7th
Well, to say it was a bit wet the morning of
the car show would be an understatement, but by about 12:30 PM the skies
cleared up and the owners of 48 cars got to dry off and bask in the
sunlight. Many thanks to our new venue in the Anaheim
Auto Center! We hope to be back next year for sure - Hopefully without the
rain this time.
